For us folk over here in the UK, and just in case you don’t want the Google Nexus One handset, Vodafone UK’s online store is now showing that the Nokia N900 smartphone will become available to purchase as of sometime next month.

And as far as I am aware Vodafone UK will be the only carrier to offer the Nokia N900 so far whether the likes of Orange and O2 will come aboard later I have no idea, but it’s looking like the Nokia N900 will for the time be solely with Vodafone UK.

Quick spec reminder for those who have been waiting for the Nokia N900, 3G, HSDPA, GSM/GPRS, 3.2 inch touch screen, slide full QWERTY keyboard, 32GB internal memory, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, Vodafone Mobile Internet, MP3 player, FM radio, 5 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, and auto-focus.

The Nokia N900 measures 110.9 x 59.8 x 19.55mm with a weight of 181 grams and will be available via Vodafone UK in January 2010, so don’t forget to register for updates.
