Next Android for Verizon Saygus VPhone

We’ve been waiting for this since Verizon and Skype got together a Video Chat device and now we’ve got it to show you the Vphone.

This is a marvellous device and is presented by Saygus it is a full QWERTY slider running on Android operating system. It has a Marvell PXA 310 processor with a clock frequency of 800 MHz.

The Vphone comes with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a FM radio. It is going to be shipped with Android 1.6 although the release details and price are not known at present.
The concept of this device is to be able to communicate via video using Skype software on the Verizon network.

This is the first device with features like this and is definitely a move in the right direction for Verizon after the release recently of the Droid, it is great to see again Android operating system being utilised for the Vphone.
