The rumour has been kicking around for some time now that the HTC Incredible will at some stage be heading Big Red way, and will be the first smartphone by HTC running Android 2.1 for Verizon, and now it looks like it has just kind of been confirmed.

The HTC Incredible has popped up on Verizon Wireless’ inventory system and a screen capture shows this courtesy of the guys over at berryscoop, and they say that once a device hits the inventory system it should be nearing launch.

Nearing launch because currently there is no confirmed launch date for the HTC Incredible on Verizon, but no doubt Big Red will get round to announcing soon.

Spec wise, as far as we know the HTC Incredible sports a 3.5 or 3.7 WVGA touch screen, Snapdragon processor, HTC Sense user interface, and a camera of some description. More as and when we know.
