Security Firm Says iPhone is Biggest Security Risk

When one thinks of the iconic iPhone one would presume it would be quite a secure smartphone; however apparently according to an article over on thefonecast, this is not the case according to a security company.

Apparently network security and compliance auditing company nCircle, has put out a survey which says the iPhone presents the biggest smartphone security risk to businesses. The company which is based in San Francisco surveyed 257 security professionals and found that 57 percent of those professionals believe the iPhone carries the greatest risk to enterprise.

The survey also found that 39 percent of those surveyed warned against the Android platform while 28 percent named BlackBerry as a risk and 13 percent named Nokia as having the biggest risk.

Apparently 58 percent of those surveyed said that their organisations do not have an effective smartphone security while 65 percent of enterprises that had a smartphone security policy do enforce it.
