Virgin Media offering cheap HTC Desire, new tariffs

Virgin Media are now going to offer a new range of mobile phone tariffs as it attempts a new direction on the handset market.

The real cost savings are on offer to current customers and make use of the quad play offering which includes TV, Internet, Landline and mobile handsets.

The headline deal for those customers is that there is £5 off the standard price you would get in the high street for phones or a shorter contract. An example is the HTC Desire as that will be offered by Virgin Media to the general public in the future for £30 per month which includes 800 minutes, unlimited texts and internet on a 2 year deal.

Existing Virgin Media customers can get it for £5 less meaning a free HTC Desire for £25 per month or you can shorten your contract to 18 months at the full rate of £30 per month. There is also a similar deal for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. Source –techradar.com
