Blackberry Pearl 3G 9100 & 9105 Release Date and Specifications: Official
Looks like RIM are making a move and releasing more devices, we already mentioned earlier about the new BlackBerry Bold 9650, and now we have some information for you about the new BlackBerry Pearl 9100 3G smartphone.
The press release has just been put up online on RIM’s website about the official Blackberry Pearl 3G aka Pearl 9100 and here we have info on specifications just for you to awe at. This handset’s design has been updated and so much so its trackpad replaces the trackball.
This model is expected to be available with AT&T or T-Mobile or possibly both, there will be two models, the 9100 model features a 20-key condensed QWERTY keyboard and the 9105 model features a 14-key traditional phone keyboard. No official word on release dates as of yet but we will keep you posted.
BlackBerry Pearl 3G Main Specifications and Features Include: 108mm x 50 mm x 13.3 mm, 93 grams, 624 Mhz processor with 256 MB Flash memory, Optical trackpad, 360×400 sharp-resolution display (238 ppi), Media player, .2 MP camera with zoom, autofocus, flash and video recording, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n, microSD/SDHD memory card slot that supports up to 32 GB cards, Built-in GPS for location-based applications, voice activated dialing, Bluetooth, speakerphone, Access to BlackBerry App World, plus BlackBerry Media Sync, BlackBerry OS 5, Support for tri-band UMTS/HSDPA and quad-band EDGE/GPRS/GSM networks, Removable 1150 mAhr battery giving up to 5.5 hours of talk time on 3G networks and so much more.

any idea of a realease date in the uk for the pearl 9105 model?
the 9105 has been release in the uk. on tmoible and O2.
the camera looks just like the one on the blackberry from t mobile
I LOVE PEARL, ITS SMALL, AND STRONG TOO. (i have dropped mine a million times and it is a trooper!!) The battery is better than the others cos the screen is smaller. Its just as mechanically powerful and its not massive so you dont feel like you have a brick in your pocket. Pearl will always be my favourite, and i need this 9100 in my life NOW lol!

i just bought the blackberry 9105 and i wish id had it all my life its awesome im not a great fan of the others and never wanted one but as soon as i saw this i knew it had to be mine yeah i have it on payg so it is a bit pricey but so worth it 🙂
I had the Pearl 8100 and loved it then went on to the Pearl 8120 and that was love at first dial and now going to the Pearl 9100 when it gets to T-Mobile USA… I'm waiting T-Mobile
