Samsung Moment Update: Has Sprint Officially Released Android 2.1?

There is confirmation via Nemus over on sdx-developers from numerous sources that Sprint may possibly have release the new 2.1 DE03 for the Samsung Moment smartphone. Some readers who have commented are saying that this update does look real but the .tar.md5 appears to be a new fun challenge.

    Yes, I have the 2.1 update. It is working and the only problem I have is sometimes the network is unstable. Otherwise, it is AWESOME! I love it!! Thank you Sprint and Samsung!

    i just did the upgrade yesterday and i can say im pretty happy with it, i have to agree with jennifer that the network its a little unstable sometimes, but then again otherwise the best!
