HTC Desire HD Vodafone UK Release Date Confirmed as 14th Oct

If you are over here in the UK and all excited about the latest smartphone coming from the HTC camp, namely the HTC Desire HD, the word is you don’t have much longer to wait to get hold of the new smartphone.

According to an article over on Pocket Picks by Will Wilson, Vodafone has now confirmed that they will release the Android 2.2 Froyo packing HTC Desire HD on the 14th of this month, so that’s what, nine days time so not long to wait at all.

Word is if you are thinking about snapping up the HTC Desire HD on Vodafone you’ll be able to gain the handset as a free device when signing you life away to the tune of £35 a month on contract with a shipping date of October the 14th.

As you are probably aware, the HTC Desire HD comes with a 4.3 inch touch screen, 1GHz processor, 720p video recording and the new Sense user interface. So any of out readers waiting to snap up the HTC Desire HD, if so shout out in our comments area to let us know.

        It's definite. My partner is with them and to take out a second contract for me, they said they can't do a deal until it's no longer on pre-order – and to call back 14th October.

    The HTC Desire is just quite simply an awesome phone, probably the best all round phone I have ever seen and this bad boy is even better! Can't wait paid for mine just awaiting delivery :0)

    Spoke to my T Mobile agency, he said it will be availble with them mid Nov…dunno if I can wait till then! Might just go straight to Vodafone, though maybe I could get a better deal out of an upgrade with T Mobile, not sure what to do really…
