Android is getting another major app update and this time round it is Facebook, we have already told you about the new features coming to the Android Twitter app so here is a few details about the Facebook App.

The new update is now ready for you to download and at the Facebook Mobile Event they said that there would be a few good things pulled out of the bag and true as they say Facebook app version 1.4.0 has many new features.

New features Include: You can now share posts with small groups of friends in the Groups section, plus you can share where you are with friends, see where friends are, discover places nearby in the Places section.

They have also improved notifications where you can now view comments and updates with the Facebook app, and they have fixed a few bugs as well.
