HTC T-Mobile G2 Software Update Review and Problems
The HTC T-Mobile G2 smartphone software update is now available and we would like you to send in your reviews and problems.
The software update version 1.22.531.8 can now be installed on the T-Mobile G2 with Google software update; this will automatically download to your handset. You will receive an installation notification when download is complete.
If you do not wish to install yet and wish to update at a later time just go to Menu>Settings>About phone>System updates to install when you feel fit.
This new update has a brand new feature that adds Wi-Fi Calling for Android, other features includes: Resolves device freeze and unexpected power-off issues, Optimizes radio recovery and Improves data connection reliability.

DON’T DO IT, massive problems with the update by addmission from HTC, your car mode will keep popping up in front of you as well as your speaker phone will activate on it’s own and every time you make a call. I had to send mine back to HTC, T-Mobile will not issue a replacement handset as they insist it’s a HTC issue.
