Obviously when iOS 4.2 is released to the Apple gear toting public it won’t be just the iconic iPhone that will receive the software update as iOS 4.2 will also be for the Apple iPad and iPod Touch.

Apple has now confirmed that the iPad will gain the iOS 4.2 software update sometime in November according to their website which says the update is “coming soon.”

Although there is no exact release date mentioned the page does state that the iPad will gain “100+ new features and innovations”, which will include the likes of printing, multitasking, folders, Airplay, Game Center, and much more.
