Apple iPhone Gains Google Instant: Got it Yet?

No doubt if you use a laptop, desktop, tablet or some other form of computer you’ll know about Google’s super fast search results, Google Instant, whereby dynamic results pop up as soon as you begin typing in the search box.

According to an article over on iPhone Download Blog by Alex, Google has now delivered Google Instant to Apple’s iOS and is available on all iOS 4+ devices including the iPhone.

However apparently there have been several reports that several areas in the United States have not received Google Instant yet, and word has it the Google Instant service should be hitting international devices over the “coming weeks.”

The official Google Mobile application will more than likely be updated for Google Instant in the not too distant future. The official Google Blog states that Google Instant for mobile is available for Android 2.2 Froyo devices along with iPhones and iPads in the US in English and they will support other countries over the coming months.

  1. Maybe its just me, but who actually goes to Google search site on their mobile device? especially android users that have a built in search bar app to which instant does not apply?

Cool idea but seems to have much more functionality on desktops
