There seems to be a bit of a delay with the Samsung Galaxy 550 smartphone being released on Virgin Mobile over in Canada as originally the device was due release on the 12th of this month then delayed until today the 15th and now that release date has been shifted again to the 20th.

Ian Hardy over at Mobile Syrup has got hold of a Virgin Mobile document that states that the Samsung Galaxy 550 is launching on November 20th exclusively with Virgin Mobile and will come with its own plan.

Unlimited local incoming, unlimited weekends and evening beginning 7pm, 300 Anytime minutes, 100MB data, the option of Voicemail 10 and Call Display or unlimited picture and text messaging, and is included in the International Text Promo all for $40 per month.

The Virgin Mobile Samsung Galaxy 550 sports Android 2.1 operating system, 2.8 inch capacitive QVGA touch screen, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, WiFi, 2 megapixel camera, 170MB memory, microSD expansion up to 32GB and a 3.5mm jack.
