If you are one of the many health conscious out there and own an iOS device, Withings has now made available for pre-order a new accessory for the iPhone, iPod Touch and Apple iPad, a blood pressure monitor, and we have a couple of videos of the device in action for your viewing consideration below.

The first video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Engadget who deliver a hands-on with the Withings blood pressure monitor for iOS devices at a Kmart store, while the second video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Daily iPhone Blog and is a demo video of the iPhone, iPod Touch or Apple iPad accessory.

Connecting your iDevice to the monitor launches the Withings app or gets you to install the app if you haven’t done so, and an on screen button begins inflating the blood pressure arm cuff and seconds later you get the results with apparently coloured circles representing possible health issues along with an FAQ display that explains said results.

Apparently the Withings Blood Pressure Monitor for iOS device began shipping as of yesterday and commands a hefty price of $129.
