BlackBerry Q3 Offerings From Bell, A Curve, Bold and Two Torches

If you are a customer of Bell over in Canada and perhaps pondering on picking you a BlackBerry smartphone sometime in the future, perhaps you’d like to know what Bell will be offering in the way of BlackBerry devices in the third quarter?

Well according to the guys over on TechFIBE, they have managed to get hold of Bell’s BlackBerry handset line up for Q3, and all those RIM device look to be scheduled for the same launch timeframe, the “back to school” season.

So what will Bell have on offer for the BlackBerry faithful? Well apparently the BlackBerry Curve 9360, which word has it will become available in September, a device that sports a 2.4-inch HVGA display, 800Mhz processor, QWERTY keyboard, HSPA 14.4Mbps, WiFi and BlackBerry OS 7.

Bell will also launch the BlackBerry Torch 9810, BlackBerry Torch 9860 aka BlackBerry Storm 3 and the BlackBerry Bold 9900 all in late August, although the article suggest that both Research In Motion and Bell might spread out the launch of said devices to other months but that will depend on rival release dates.

So here’s a quick spec run down on each smartphone, The BlackBerry Bold 9900 has a 2.8-inch capacitive touch screen, QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash, 1.2 GHz processor, WiFi, Bluetooth and BlackBerry OS 7.

The BlackBerry Torch 9860 offers a 3.7-inch WVGA touch screen, 5 megapixel camera with 720p video, 1.2 GHz single core processor, HSPA 14.4 Mbps, WiFi and of course BlackBerry OS 7.

The BlackBerry Torch 9810 offers a 3.2-inch touch screen, slide down QWERTY keyboard, HSPA 14.4Mbps, WiFi, 1.2GHz dual core processor, and BlackBerry OS 7.

The article does say that even though the Samsung Galaxy S II is soon to be released with Bell and they also offering the HTC Sensation, the companies’ third quarter line up does look good.

As for just how much these four BlackBerry smartphone will actually hit your pocket for when Bell pushes them out the door hasn’t yet been revealed or whether they will carry the usual contract term of a minimum of 2-years.

Still if you are one of the BlackBerry faithful with Bell in Canada you now know what devices to expect in the coming months, so are any of our Canadian reader interested in snapping up the BlackBerry Bold 9900, Curve 9360, Torch 9810 or Torch 9860 when they hit the streets, if so feel free to let us know by posting to our comments area below.
