Well as Apple have their very own stores it’s about time a rival platform showed off what it has to offer, and now the world is graced with the world’s first Android store called Androidland that launched recently in Melbourne, Australia, and has been launched by Aussie carrier Telstra, and of course we have a video below so you can check out what the world’s first Android dedicated store has to offer.

The Androidland Telstra launches the world’s first Android store in Melbourne comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Phone Arena and by way of the Telstra YouTube page and delivers a one and a half minute look around the new store within a store.

Androidland in situated in Telstra’s flagship store in Bourke St Melbourne and covers some 154 square metres augmented with the like of the smell of gingerbread to depict the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system of course, and there’s even a giant screen to play Angry Birds on.

Apparently Androidland will open in the next six-months and has humans on hand to explain everything you need to know including a spaceship hub that gives a full customer experience and of course there is a multitude of the little green Android robot in attendance.

Anyway I’ll leave it right there and let you head on down to check out the Androidland footage for yourself and please us know if you would love to have an Android land near where you live by posting to our comments area below…enjoy.
