HTC Edge and Zeta Quad-core Android onslaught

Word has had it for quite a while that HTC will soon be delivering quad core smartphone, moving away from popular single core handsets such as the HTC Incredible S and the latest word is HTC will unleash their quad core Android onslaught sometime in February with two new Android quad core smartphones.

According to an article over on Fonehome, the two quad core devices will be the HTC Edge and HTC Zeta, with images surfacing of the HTC Edge back in November that sowed the device to be sporting a 1.5GHz quad core processor along with a 4.7-inch HD touch screen.

We recently reported on the HTC Edge letting you know that the device will also come out to play packing an 8 megapixel camera with f/2.2 lens, 720p video, Bluetooth 4.0 and 32GB internal storage.

Then there is the HTC Zeta, again we reported on this Android smartphone, which word has it will come with a 2.5GHz quad core processor, 4.5-inch 720p HD touch screen and run Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

As for just when we might see the HTC Edge and HTC Zeta come out to play, well according to DigiTimes HTC is expected to unveil their quad core Android devices during Mobile World Congress 2012, although that has yet to be confirmed by HTC.

So there you have it, we could see HTC quad core devices at MWC 2012 and ship sometime in April, do these HTC quad core Android smartphones capture your attention enough to want one?
