Android 4.0 Lenovo IdeaTab S2 Transformer style tablet introduced

It looks like Lenovo is taking a few design hints from Acer when it comes to their latest Android tablet the Lenovo IdeaTab S2, which Lenovo recently announced as this Android Ice Cream Sandwich slate also comes with a keyboard dock so it can transform into a laptop much like the Asus Transformer Prime.

According to the guys over at Ubergizmo, the Lenovo IdeaTab S2 is a 10-inch tablet running Android 4.0, which Lenovo is happy with and describe the IdeaTab S2 as providing a “flawless” end user experience.

So what else does the Lenovo IdeaTab S2 offer potential users? Well is packs a Qualcomm 1.5GHz Dual Krait processor, that 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 IPS touch screen, 1GB LP-DDR2 memory, 16GB, 23GB and 64GB storage, GPS/AGPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR.

The ICS tablet also comes with an 5 megapixel auto-focus rear facing camera with LED flash along with a 1.3 HD front facing camera, micro HDMI, microSD, SIM card (only for 3G), 17-pin docking connector, 3.5mm jack and that optional keyboard dock.

Size wise the Lenovo IdeaTab S2 is 8.9mm thick and weighs in at 580 grams, and features a secondary battery that can deliver up to 20 hours of life.

As for pricing and just when and where you might be able to pick up the Android tablet, currently there’s no info on that available, but does the Lenovo IdeaTab S2 look like the Android tablet for you this year?
