Windows 8 Medfield Lenovo ThinkPad handled on video

During Computex 2012 Lenovo showed off their Lenovo ThinkPad tablet, an 11.6-inch Windows 8 slate packing the Intel Medfield Atom processor, and we have a nice little hands-on video with the Lenovo ThinkPad Windows 8 tablet for your viewing pleasure below.

The Lenovo ThinkPad tablet hands-on footage comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Slash Gear, who were on hand to get up close with the prototype Windows 8 tablet, and took the opportunity to record the occasion in a very short one and a half minutes.

The guys say that the Lenovo ThinkPad Windows 8 prototype follows the firm’s traditional aesthetic with a squared off design, matte soft touch chassis and apparently hops the design will appeal to the enterprise segment. The slate sports a camera at both front and back, USB and microSD slots, and miniHDMI connector, and a SIM slot.

However Lenovo isn’t saying much about specifications at this time, but the guys reckon the tablet will have both WiFi and Bluetooth, and no doubt some TPM security hardware if Lenovo is serious about targeting the enterprise segment.

The Windows 8 tablet is still being referred to as a prototype, and as such there is no word on just when the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet will actually come out to play in the mobile space and obviously not word on pricing at this stage.

So all that remains is for you to head on down and mash that play button to check out the hands-on footage with the Lenovo ThinkPad Windows 8 Medfield Atom tablet…enjoy.
