Galaxy S3 gets two new colour options on Verizon

As the old saying goes, variety is the spice of life, and if a smartphone only comes in one or two colours, customer choice is rather limited, but it appears that old Sammy has realised people do like a varied choice in colours when it comes to purchasing a handset. As such if you are over in the good old US of A, the popular Samsung Galaxy S3 will be getting two new colour options soon.

For those over the pond, who prefer the Big Red as their carrier of choice, it appears that Verizon will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S3 with Sapphire Black or Amber Brown jackets soon according to a sign up page on their website reports Droid-life.

This means that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will now have five colour options, pebble blue, marble white, garnet red, and now sapphire black or amber brown, although it isn’t clear whether elsewhere will gain the black and brown versions, and one can presume as this is purely a jacket colour change, the pricing for the Android handset will remain the same, as will the specs and features of course.

That’s about it, if you do prefer a darker colour to the Galaxy S3 then you should be able to snap up either the black or brown models from the Big Red in a couple of weeks time.

What do our readers think about the new colours, do you like the Samsung Galaxy S3 in black or brown, does the colour of a handset make much difference to you when choosing a device, or do you feel the colour doesn’t come into the equation when purchasing a smartphone?
