The Prestigio Visconte tablet series is one of the first running on the new Intel® Celeron® Dual-Core 64-bit processor at 1.46 GHz offering up to 2x the processing performance and 3x better graphics performance of previous-generation Intel Atom processors.

The tablet is oriented towards active users looking for an all-in-one device for work, play and on the go. The Prestigio Visconte has a 1200×800 resolution, up to 64GB internal storage, is available in both Windows 8.1 and Windows 8.1 Pro, in Wi-Fi and 3G enabled versions. Thus, the Prestigio Visconte reinforces the customer’s perception of a tablet’s value in both the education and the business environment.

Martin MacNamara, UK Sales Director for Prestigio, commented: “The Prestigio Visconte is another breakthrough in taking business and educational collaboration to a remarkably new level by offering a complete solution together with the Prestigio MultiBoards (All-In-One PC with multitouch screen). Plus, as usual, we do it with attractive pricing.”

The Prestigio Visconte on Windows 8.1 is preloaded with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013, the most robust Office yet – free for Prestigio Visconte users.

The tablet PC offers an intuitive design that works beautifully with touch, stylus, mouse or keyboard to create, read, and share materials created in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and One Note applications. With Office connected to the cloud via SkyDrive, documents and personal settings are available from anywhere giving users the freedom to work the way they want and when they want.

Customers who choose the new Windows-based Prestigio tablet will experience a fully customisable Start and Lock screen, improved People, Photos, Mail, Calendar, Skype as well as SkyDrive storage in the Cloud. For Professional users, the Prestigio Visconte Windows Pro tablet offers a strong device that operates well in business environments with secured access to company data and new features including auto-triggered VPN and Work Folders. Because it runs on the new Windows, the Prestigio tablet is compatible with the widest range of applications and connected devices including printers, scanners, cameras and more.

“Windows is a central part of more than a billion lives around the world. From work to play, whether managing corporate IT to building apps to browsing the web, more people use Windows than any other OS,” said Don Grantham, Microsoft’s President of Central & Eastern Europe. “Through the introduction of the new Windows-based Prestigio tablet here in CEE, we expect that more businesses and educational institutions will have access to the many benefits of Windows. This new tablet becomes part of a family of Windows-based devices and services for individuals and businesses that empower people around the globe–at home, at work and on-the-go, for the activities they value the most.
