Yet another in the Micromax Canvas line-up of phones will soon be available. The Micromax Canvas Mad A94 is a smartphone with a difference as it will be ads related, rewarding customers for watching video ads. We have information on the Micromax Canvas Mad A94 price, and it will be on sale very shortly.

The idea of this handset is that owners can view video ads on the device before making a phone call and can then receive mobile phone recharge coupons. Mahesh Telecom’s Manish Khatri has now said that the Micromax Canvas Mad A94 will have a price tag of Rs. 8,100.

Exact specifications of the dual SIM Canvas Mad are not known yet, but listings at online retailers so far show a quad-core processor, 4.5-inch display, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD).

Other specs include a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a 1800 mAh battery and the phone runs the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It’s anticipated that the Canvas Mad will launch in the next week with stocks arriving in the next few days.

Previously a phone with a similar ads-related idea was launched by MTS, but failed to catch on with customers.
