Dual SIM smartphones are very popular in India and two that have arrived in recent months are the HTC Desire 820 Dual SIM and the Sony Xperia C3 Dual. This varies by retailer and although they are in a similar price sector the Desire 820 is generally the more expensive of the two. As an approximate guide, the HTC Desire 820 Dual SIM can be found on sale for around Rs. 24,500 while the Sony Xperia C3 Dual is available for around Rs. 20,000.
It’s evident from the above that the Desire 820 has more to bring to the table, but it’s up to buyers to decide if they want to pay the extra cash for this handset. It has an octa-core processor, more RAM and internal storage, better camera capabilities, and a higher capacity battery. It’s worth noting though that the Xperia C3 does have the benefit of a removable battery that many people prefer.
There’s hardly anything between them where size is concerned and so some of your decision may also come down to which design you favour. In our opinion though, if you’re torn between these two smartphones it’s worth paying a bit more for the HTC Desire 820.
