The Micromax Bolt Q370 gets listed with Android 5.1

#

Another month, another half-dozen handsets from Micromax. This time around we’re going to take a look at the Micromax Bolt Q370, a new budget-friendly smartphone that’s just been listed online.

Yesterday we told you about the Micromax Canvas Blaze 4G Plus, which looks to be a good option for consumers in India looking for 4G LTE. The Micromax Bolt Q370 is a device in the same vein, but with 3G and slightly altered specifications. It also appears to be a bit cheaper, so which makes it an option if you can live without 4G LTE.

According to the listing, the Micromax Bolt Q370 will feature a 4.5-inch panel with a resolution of 854 x 480. The small smartphone will get its power from a quad-core chip clocked at 1.2GHz and backed by 1GB of RAM. The storage capacity is listed at 8GB, but expandable and you’ll find the same 5MP/2MP camera combo as the one featured on the Canvas Blaze 4G Plus.

In the connectivity department, you’ll get a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPRS/EDGE, and the aforementioned 3G connectivity. The Micromax Bolt Q370 will also have dual-SIM connectivity as is usually the case with phones in the region. Last but not least is a 1,650mAh battery and the OS which is listed as Android 5.1.

We don’t have a firm Micromax Bolt Q370 release date at this time, but the smartphone has already started to pop up at online shops. The current prices range from Rs. 4,875 to around Rs. 5,400 so the official price should fall somewhere in that range once it has been officially released.
