Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G launches with competitive price

We’ve already see the Micromax Canvas Xpress followed more recently by the Canvas Xpress 2. Now the Canvas Xpress 4G Q413 has launched, and of course it adds 4G LTE connectivity to the ride. We have details of the Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G price and more, and the phone will be sold exclusively through Flipkart.

In fact at the launch of the Xpress 4G, Micromax announced that all Xpress series phones from now on would only be available from Flipkart. If you want to get your hands on this newest Xpress version you don’t have to wait, as the phone is available at Flipkart from today. The Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G price is Rs, 6,599, which is a competitive price for a 4G smartphone. Airtel customers can also get double data for 6 months on purchase.

Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G specs include a 1GHz MediaTek MT6735P processor, Mali-T720 graphics, and a 5-inch IPS display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720. It has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable to 32GB via microSD), and a 2000 mAh battery. Connectivity is covered by 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.

Further Xpress 4G specifications include an 8-megapixel rear camera with OmniVision sensor and LED flash, and up front there’s a 2-megapixel snapper. It’s a dual SIM handset and runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The Canvas Xpress 4G is available in a very attractive blue color and the styling of the phone is quite appealing.

Commenting about the launch Micromax Informatics CEO Vineet Taneja said,

“With the belief that great technology does not come at a price, we already have 13 products under the Micromax brand in our 4G portfolio ranging from 6499/- to 14999/-. We are further looking to ramp up our 4G portfolio and 30% of our smartphones are already 4G capable. With the launch of the Canvas Xpress 4G, Micromax has ensured that great specifications with LTE capability is available to everybody at a disruptive price thereby spurring the 4G adoption in the country.”
