iBall Slide WQ149R Windows 10 tablet launches with HDD slot

A new iBall Slide device has launched in India and the iBall Slide WQ149R is a Windows 10 tablet. This could suit those who require plenty of storage on their devices, as it includes a built-in hard disk drive slot. Please read on for the specifications, price and more.

Before we go any further we’ll give you the all-important pricing news and the iBall Slide WQ149R price is Rs. 16,499. The HDD slot can support up to 1TB internal 2.5-inch slim SATA Hard Drive, though bear in mind that this requires a separate purchase. As well as this selling point it’s a 2-in-1 Windows 10 tablet, so it’s likely to attract plenty of interest because of this.

Specs of the iBall Slide WQ149R include a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z3735F quad-core processor (with burst to 1.86GHz), and a 10.1-inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 800 featuring Zero Air Gap touch and 178-degree viewing angle. There’s 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD to 64GB.

Further specs include a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing snapper, and a 7800 mAh battery. Connectivity is covered with 3G (using a built-in ultra stick), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB, USB OTG, and micro HDMI. The device has a touch pad and a detachable keyboard. iBall director Sandeep Parasrampuria said of the device,
