Gionee GN9011 gets benchmarked with 4GB of RAM
Another day, another smartphone leak. This time around it’s from Gionee as a new smartphone dubbed the Gionee GN9011 has just gotten benchmarked with some sweet specifications.
Last year, we told you to expect a lot of high-powered handsets in 2016 from manufacturers across the board. We’re not far into the calendar yet and nothing we’ve seen has changed out stance while devices like the Gionee GN9011 have bolstered it. The mysterious handset is far from official, but it should be one of the better options around if the specifications pan out.
According to Geekbench, the Gionee GN9011 will have plenty of pep courtesy of a MediaTek MT6755 processer that’s clocked at 1.95GHz. The chip will get some help from 4GB of RAM, and while we don’t know the storage capacity, we do know it was tested running Android 6.0. That’s a good sign that we’re looking at a smartphone in the flagship class, even if we have no idea of what it will look like or how large it will be.
It’s safe to say the Gionee GN9011 will probably hit the streets under a different moniker, and that could be relatively soon considering we have a big event in Barcelona set for the end of the month. Whatever the Gionee GN9011 turns out to be, we’ll keep you in the loop as it could be a popular handset it the price is right.
