T-Mobile promo offers up unlimited Pokémon GO data for a year

Earlier today we told you about the Mini NES, and now we’re back with some Nintendo news of a different sort. T-Mobile has jumped on the Pokémon GO bandwagon but have taken an interesting approach with their new promotion.

Once upon a time there was a game called Clash Royale… Not long ago, Supercell’s latest game was the talk of the town, but how times have changed. Pokémon GO has taken the world by storm, and it’s become a daily way of life here at Phonesreview.co.uk and plenty of other sites. While corpses and various issues have arisen since the game launched, a Pokémon GO data problem is something many didn’t see coming.

Pokémon GO is not a game for couch potatoes. Unless you reside in a mansion, the chances of catching them all is slim, so you have to get out and about. Due to the nature of the game, Pokémon GO data has apparently become an issue as GPS and Pokémon GO map refreshes are sucking up loads of data, which is where T-Mobile is ready to jump in.

Next Tuesday T-Mobile will offer up a year of unlimited Pokémon GO data, and getting that perk is as simple as pressing a button a couple of times. It will be part of the weekly T-Mobile Tuesdays offer, which will also include a free $15 ride from Lyft, a free Frosty and 50% off “select” accessories at T-Mobile stores. The weekly movie deal is missing this week, but we are going to assume that’s because you will be too busy catching Pokémon to watch a flick.

T-Mobile is full of surprises and true to their word they are mixing it up with the T-mobile Tuesday promo. This week that includes $100 in free PokéCoins for 250 people and a Pokémon GO hunting trip anywhere in the world for 5 lucky folks and a guest. If you’re already a T-Mobile subscriber and Pokémon GO player, hit up the T-Mobile Tuesday app next week to take advantage of the sweet deals.

Have you burned through a lot of data on Pokémon GO this month?
