Intex Aqua Music launches with Dual Speakers for Rs. 9,317

Intex has introduced a new smartphone for consumers in India today. The Intex Aqua Music is headed to the region with some interesting features, and is affordable at Rs. 9,317.

Sound quality can play an important part when it comes to choosing a new smartphone for some folks. We’re not talking about call quality either, rather the sounds that come front the usually tinny speakers on handsets. Intex has geared the Aqua Music towards folks that appreciate high-quality audio as it has dual speakers to deliver the sound whether you are playing Angry Birds or the latest tune from your favorite artist.

Speakers aside, the Intex Aqua Music is a solid mid-range handset with a large 5.5-inch IPS panel sporting a resolution of 1,280 x 720. Beneath the glass, you’ll find a quad-core chip clocked at 1.3GHz in the form of the MediaTek MT6735 and 2GB of RAM. The internal storage clocks in at 16G, but is expandable through a microSD card slot so you won’t have to turn to the cloud straight out of the box.

On the rear of the Intex Aqua Music, you will find a 13MP sensor with an LED flash. The front-facing camera isn’t as fancy, but more than sufficient for most at 5MP. When it comes to connectivity, all the usual boxes are checked as well with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Dual SIM card slots. The handset runs Android 6.0 out of the box and is powered by a 3,400mAh battery.

The Intex Aqua Music will launch through online e-tailers and retail shops in the region for Rs. 9,317. It will be available in Grey or Silver if you are interested in picking one up.
