Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 leaks again through GFXBench

#

Not long ago we came across a listing for the new Galaxy J3 with the model number SM-J328P. Today the Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 has leaked again in variant form which means it is time to take another look at those specs.

The Samsung Galaxy J series gets a little larger each year, and the old J3 has always fallen into the budget or entry-level class. We got a quick look at the Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 through GFXBench a few weeks back and now it has returned with the model number SM-J327P. These handsets are going to be similar but there is definitely a reason that digit has dropped down a rung.

In our previous coverage of the Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 SM-J328P, we learned it would have a Snapdragon 430 under the hood paired with 2GB of RAM. The listing was light on the details, but the SM-J327 paints a clearer picture. According to the listing, this one will have a Snapdragon 425 and 1.5GB of RAM, thus the lower digit in the model number. The rest of the specs include a 5-inch 720p display, 16GB of storage and a 5MP/2MP camera combo. The handset will run Android 6.0.1 out of the box but that’s all we know for now.

There may not be a firm release date set for the Samsung Galaxy J3 2017, but we expect it to debut very soon. The smartphone will certainly fall into the budget class given its specifications so it should have a low price tag as well.
