Wireless Samsung Level headphones rumored with Galaxy S8 launch

#

One of the rumors that didn’t die this year with the Galaxy S8 was the headphone jack. Recent leaks revealed it’s still there, but Samsung may still have something new to show off with wireless Samsung level headphones.

If the most recent Samsung Galaxy S8 design leak pans out, we are going to get the best of both words this year. That means a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C charging, two features that have had some fans up in arms. While it appears you will still be able to plug your old earbuds up, a new rumor suggests a new accessory will debut soon. Those would be the new wireless Samsung level headphones which will arrive alongside the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.

News of the new wireless Level U headphones comes from leaker Roland Quandt, otherwise known as @Rquandt. While details are slim, he said the new ANC wireless headphones will have the model number EO-IG950B and be sold alongside the Samsung Galaxy S8. They will have active noise cancelling, and while we don’t have a photo, we have to assume they will look quite nice. They also won’t be cheap, so you may have to shell out quite a bit if you opt for the new gear as the Samsung Galaxy S8 price is rumored to rise as well.

The wireless Samsung level headphones are rumored to cost €130/$138. That’s a hair cheaper than the Airpods although we don’t know if Sammy’s solution will be nearly as stylish. That said, it will be available in Black along with Red, Green and Silver. We may be reading far too much into things, but that could match with the colors of the S8 this year. Red and Green would definitely shake things up.
