Oppo produces some interesting devices and has just launched a new hybrid dual SIM smartphone in India. Those who want to get their hands on the selfie-focused handset won’t have to wait too long, as pre-orders for the Oppo F3 Plus are already available. Oppo F3 Plus pre-orders start today through till March 31st. The new Oppo smartphone will be available from various offline and online retailers including Flipkart and Amazon.in. It will be available in a choice of Black and Gold colors and has a unibody metal design. The release date is set for April 1st and the confirmed Oppo F3 Plus price is Rs. 30,990. That equates to around $473, £378, or €438.

Now we get to the all-important specifications. They include a Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor (four cores at 1.95GHz and four at 1.44GHz), with Adreno 510 graphics. The phone has a large 6-inch display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 The display features 2.5D curved glass with protection offered by Gorilla Glass 5. It packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD to 256GB.

The F3 Plus carries a 16-megapixel rear camera featuring optical image stabilization, dual-focus PDAF, dual-tone LED flash, and 4K video capture. It also has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with 76.4-degree wide-angle lens, and a secondary 8-megapixel front-facing camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens. The lights are kept on by a sizeable 4000 mAh battery featuring VOOC Flash Charge.

The Oppo F3 Plus has connectivity options that include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. It features a fingerprint sensor that will still work even when the user’s fingers are moist. The phone runs the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system skinned with Oppo’s ColorOS 3.0. It measures 163.63mm x 80.8mm x 7.35mm and it weighs in at 185g.
