HTC EVO 4G The Device Users Adore

I was looking back on a few posts today and came across a post with several HTC EVO 4G owning readers comments which shows that the HTC EVO 4G is one much loved smartphone, so I thought I do an update on the popularity of the HTC EVO 4G.

To start off I’ll draw your attention to a popularity poll we ran placing the HTC EVO 4G up against the HTC Droid Incredible and the soon to be released iPhone 4, you can view and vote on that poll by hitting up (here). The poll actually shows that out of 2938 votes so far, the HTC EVO 4G has captured 1958 of those votes.

The poll speaks volumes to me about how well liked the HTC EVO 4G is, especially with the iPhone 4 only managing to pull in 551 votes; however once the iPhone 4 is released to the public then things may change.

But it’s not just the poll that shows people adore the HTC EVO 4G; picking up on a few of out reader comments shows the device is a great handset. Comments such as…from reader Sean B, who posts, “I was in line the day the Evo came out. This phone is amazing.”

Reader Richard says, “There is no doubt in my mind about the HTC evo 4g being the best smartphone on the market.”

While reader Bruce says, “The Evo is a God’s gift to mankind. In my opinion they have outclassed Apple’s iPhone even when they are on a stand alone 3G radio. With 4G the Evo is in a class of its own, don’t waste your time comparing it with the iPhone 4, its pointless.”

Those are just a few of the comments taken from our “HTC EVO 4G, Would You Swap for an iPhone 4” post, and doesn’t take into account any of the reader comments on the poll. So I believe I am safe in stating the HTC EVO 4G is the device users adore, wouldn’t you agree?

It's a great phone, but not without it's problems. I find it interesting that you did not post any of the complaints with the HTC Evo. There have been some issues with the phone rebooting all on it's own, the plastic seperating from the body of the phone, wi-fi issues, video conferencing and not to mention the battery life while using the phone in 4G mode.
All of these issues DO NOT EFFECT all the HTC Evo phones, just a few. You can go to the HTC website and read some of the complaints from actual owners of this phone under the Forum for the HTC Evo. Their is a forum for each of the HTC phones, so make sure you are in the right forum.
There is also the interesting fact that the HTC has only sold around 66,000 units for the first 4 days of sales. Read the full article here http://www.afterdawn.com/news/article.cfm/2010/06

I still think that it's and awsome phone though. Just wish that I could find one of them anywhere but on ebay at the moment.
