The vice president of Epic Games, Mark Rein has pushed a tempting unofficial announcement out to Android gaming fans out there in the gaming world that’s will probably have Android gamers popping with excitement.

According to an article over on Droid-life, and by way of Droid Gamers, the Epic Games VP sent out the uofficial announcement through a Twitter tweet which said “We’ve demoed Unreal Engine 3 on Android w/Terga2 before and at KCG today we showed it on a Samsung Galaxy S device.”

For those that aren’t into the gaming scene, Epic commands the Unreal Tournament and Gears of Wars franchises, both popular in gaming and PC circles and is known for its amazing graphics experience.

Obviously this tweet was an unofficial outing of Unreal Engine coming to the Android platform but it doesn’t say when we are likely to see it happen but should do sometime in the not too distant future.
