A few days back we posted that the Samsung Olympics Facebook page revealed that there was possibly a black version of the popular Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone on its way; however back then it wasn’t clear whether the image posted was a mistake, or whether an actual black version of the Galaxy S3 was indeed coming to market. Well it appears not only is the black SGS3 come out to play, but you can pre-order the device right now.
Yes folks, if your favourite colour for smartphones is black, and you would like to own a black Samsung Galaxy S3 rather than opting for the pebble blue or white versions, as long as you are in the United Kingdom you can now slap in a pre-order for the black model at Mobile Fun.
The UK retailer has now made the black version of the Android Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone available for pre-order as a SIM free handset in 16GB capacity, and commands a price tag of £499.95, and stock is expected to arrive in four to six weeks time.
Naturally the only change with this new model is cosmetic, and everything you would expect spec wise remains the same at the other colours, so you still get that sweet 4.8-inch Super AMOLED Plus touch screen along with that fast 1.4GHz Exynos quad core processor, 8 megapixel rear facing camera, 2 megapixel front facing snapper, and the rest.
It’s not clear whether Samsung has made the black Galaxy S3 available for pre-order anywhere else yet, but if not, as the device is being offered as a SIM free device, one could always snap it up and import it.
So there you go, the black Samsung Galaxy S3 is now available for pre-order in the United Kingdom, so will any of our UK readers be hitting up Mobile Fun to place a pre-order for this new colour SGS3?
