Motorola Droid Bionic Android Jelly Bean 4.1 update invites

#

Motorola Droid Bionic owners on Verizon will be very happy to learn that Android Jelly Bean 4,1 is on its way, the Moto team have started its roll out sooner than expected thanks to soak test invites being sent out.

The Android Jelly Bean 4.1 update was expected to release somewhere around June so to hear that invites have been sent out already is very good news to say the least. Phones Review did mention on March 27th that the release estimate could come as soon as this month or owners may have to wait until June.

Motorola seem to be getting the Jelly Bean updates out very fast, which means those on Ice Cream Sandwich will be smiling from ear-to-ear. Droid-Life has confirmed that the invites have already started for soak tests, normally after soak tests the official JB update will come soon after.

We do not know the official public release, but we will be keeping a close eye on this one for you. Hopefully the rollout will happen this month and Verizon Motorola Droid Bionic owners can have the JB update they have been waiting for.

When the official update does go live, Droid Bionic users will be blessed with a new smoother UI, Google Now, better widgets and multitasking, improved camera application and much more.
