iOS 7.1 Gold Master due soon ahead of public release

#

iPhone maker Apple has just dropped the 5th beta of iOS 7.1 to developers as it looks to provide its mobile users with the final public release of the software with the Gold Master tipped to drop in the not too distant future.

Yesterday the 5th beta of iOS 7.1 was seeded to developers but according to reports the final public release of the operating system could be a few weeks away as it is claimed that there are no more beta releases planned for the firmware.

According to BGR this will be the last beta release and after seeing five of them Apple will next release the Gold Master version just ahead of the final public release. This release is again tipped to arrive next month which has been mentioned previously, and is expected at the beginning of March.

Since Apple first released iOS 7 back in September of last year the operating system has been beset with problems troubling some users, which have included random reboots and app crashes along with a general sluggishness with the operating system for some users.

So hopefully in the next few weeks the iOS 7.1 OS will be made available to end users with compatible hardware and there won’t be any more issues encountered, and then thoughts will be concentrating on an iOS 8 release later in the year.

What do you want to see fixed in iOS 7.1?
