Samsung Galaxy Star 2 Plus official India listing with price

#

Some of our readers in India may recall that earlier this month we gave some details about the new Samsung Galaxy Star Advance smartphone that was about to release. Now the Samsung Galaxy Star 2 Plus has become officially listed for India, and this is actually the same as the Galaxy Star Advance. We have details on specs and price coming up.

The previously mentioned Galaxy Star Advance is up for sale already at Snapdeal at a price of Rs. 8,267, but the official Samsung India eStore now has the Galaxy Star 2 Plus showing with a price of Rs. 7,335. Thus, there’s a certain amount of confusion over whether the phone will be officially launched as the Galaxy Star Advance or the Galaxy Star 2 Plus.

Galaxy Star 2 Plus specs are listed as a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 4.3-inch LCD display with resolution of 800 x 480, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD). It has a 3-megapixel camera with LED flash, a 1800 mAh battery, and runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

Connectivity of this low-end dual SIM device includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS, and the phone also has FM radio and a 3.5mm audio jack. Dimensions are 130.2mm x 67.9mm x 9.8mm and it weighs 138g.

The Samsung Galaxy Star 2 Plus comes in black or white color options, and although it now appears on the Samsung India eStore here with model number SM-G350E, it’s currently listed as out of stock. Are you interested in this budget smartphone?
