The Lenovo A328 launches in India for Rs. 7,299

#

Last week, the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro rolled into India, and the company has just announced another new handset for the region. The Lenovo A328 is the name of the new smartphone, and it’s a reasonably priced device with mid-range specs.

The Vibe Z2 Pro is a flagship in every sense of the word, and while the Lenovo A328 can’t measure up to its specs, it only costs a fraction of the price. As for those specs, the A328 will rock a quad-core 1.3GHz chip with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of expandable internal storage. It’s also a smaller handset, as it has a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 854 x 480.

The rear camera on the Lenovo A328 comes in at 5MP while the front-facing snapper is a 2MP sensor. It’s a dual-SIM handset as well, and connectivity options include 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, FM radio, and GSP. The Lenovo A328 will run Android 4.4, and it’s powered by a 2,000mAh battery.

The Lenovo A328 is priced at Rs. 7,299 in India, and is already up for grabs in Black or White. It’s going to face some stiff competition in the budget phone sector from the likes of the Redmi 1S, but is a device well worth a look if you’re in the market for a new handset.
