Elegance and Solid from Emporia gain Hands-on Review

Targeted towards the older generation, Emporia showcased a couple of handsets while at Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona, and the guys over at engadget mobile have now given both the mobile phones the hands-on treatment.

The two mobile phones are the Emporia Elegance and the Emporia Solid and both have been freshly launched and include big easy to read fonts, a fairly slim feature set and quite large keys enabling the older generation to use the handset easier.

The Emporia Elegance offers up a 1.8 inch OLED display, GSM 900/1800, and extra loud ringer and will ship in both white and black and command a price tag of €129 and should become available sometime in Q2.

The Emporia Solid carries the same specification as the Emporia Elegance but with the addition of Bluetooth and appears to be a more rugged mobile phone that will command a price tag of €199 and also become available sometime in Q2.
