JailbreakMe Exploit Patched by iOS 4.0.2 Update: Video

As expected Apple, as they really don’t like iPhone users jailbreaking their iPhone have now released iOS 4.0.2 which essentially kicks the JailbreakMe exploit into touch, so if you upgrade to iOS 4.0.2 you can say goodbye to your jailbreak.

As you are probably aware the JailbreakMe solution used an exploit via a PDF flaw, and so you see that the iOS 4.0.2 update does indeed un-jailbreak your iPhone we have some video confirmation of that for your viewing pleasure below.

The video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at the Daily iPhone Blog, lasts just over the minute mark and shows the PDF exploit on an iPhone 3GS running iOS 4.0 followed by iOS 4.0.2 running on the iPhone 3GS and Apple’s patch to the PDF exploit.

So with that said it’s much simpler for you to head on down below and check out the video, and if you want your iPhone to remain jailbroken via the JailbreakMe exploit then they advise you not to update to iOS 4.0.2 otherwise you’ll need to wait for a new jailbreak solution to appear.
