Some time ago word hit the net waves that there was an HD version of the HTC Droid Incredible handset in the making; well the HTC Droid Incredible HD has now popped up once again and has been pictured.

According to an article over on the Boy Genius Report by Andrew Munchbach, the guys over at Android Central have come up with the image i=of the new smartphone which is also being called the HTC Mecha.

And also with the HTC Droid Incredible HD image comes a little detail, the picture shows the HTC Droid Incredible HD powered on and is running Android 2.2 along with HTC Sense 2.0, but the big deal here is at the top there is a 4G symbol meaning this baby can run on Verizon’s LTE network.

Apparently the device is still in the testing stage so no real word on when we are likely to see the HTC Droid Incredible HD surface for consumption by the public, nice to know that it’s on its way though.
