iPad 2 and iPhone 5 Wishlist: What Do You Want?

No doubt app the iOS faithful out there in Apple gear land are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the latest tech gizmos from Apple, namely the next generation Apple iPad and iPhone, the Apple iPad 2 and iPhone 5.

So what specs will we see on both iOS devices? Well according to a rumour back in December by Ubergizmo, an iPad 2 case revealed the device should have a better camera, another rumour has it that the Apple iPad 2 will sport both GSM and CDMA radios as reported (here).

There’s even a rumour on a possible US release date for the next generation Apple iPad (here), but when it comes down to actual confirmed specs for the Apple iPad 2 there isn’t a great deal known yet, but perhaps we’ll find out at Mobile World Congress 2011.

When it comes to the next generation iPhone, the iPhone 5 as it is being called, well like the Apple iPad 2 mentioned above it too will apparently have GSM and CDMA radios and according to an article over on Nexus404 will pack an A5 processor, but won’t play nice of any 4G network.

Other rumours in the past have speculated the iPhone 5 would comes with a Pico projector as reported (here) and even supposed parts of the iPhone 5 have supposedly been captured on video, which you can view by hitting up (here). There’s even a rumour that both the Apple iPad 2 and iPhone 5 will come out without a home button as reported (here).

However, when it comes right down to the nitty-gritty we don’t really know much about either iOS device and everything is speculation at this point as nothing has been confirmed.

But what we’d love to know is what our readers would like to see in the new Apple iPad 2 and iPhone 5, do you have any particular features or tech you’d like to see arrive with the iPad 2 or iPhone 5, or can Apple actually come up with something new too excite potential customers?

Feel free to let us know your iPad 2 and iPhone 5 wish list by dropping us your views to our comments section below…many thanks.

    What do I want?
I want the same article not to resurface every January asking what we all want from the next generation iPhone/iPad, or next version of iOS.

Apple have no doubt already built it and have been testing it for the last 12 months. The iPhone 4 had been tested for 2 years prior to it's release according to Steve Jobs during the Antenna Gate scandal.

Come on, find some useful interesting topics to write about instead of resurecting the same ones every 6 months.

Here's what I want: Apple to close it's doors, cease trading and to fade quietly into the history. And let it's comedic (yet somehow successful) business strategy serve only as a warning to others about how you shouldn't let yourself get brainwashed by all the hyperbole force-fed to you by a company who's only interest is making overpriced and under-functional hardware.

There, I said. To that end, I feel better for it to.

Actually, I'm going to comment further on this as I feel so strongly. In order to be able to use an iPad, you have to install iTunes. So Apple have built a device that you can't use out of the box. You can't just switch it on and use it. That my friend is garbage. Even Sony isn't that restrictive.

I like my android OS phone. I'm sure I'd also like the iphone 5, but not enough to forgo the opportunity to own the next gen. ipad. first. Horribly written article btw, just horrible.

    Thought I’d indulge.

I’d like the iPad 2 to be a stand alone computer. I don’t want to have to sync to my desktop. I’d like it better if I could sync my iPhone to my iPad. Make the iPad more like a laptop.

As for an iPhone 5. I’d like it a better camera, more memory, faster processor. Bigger screen (even a few mm), some way of increasing data transfer like dual 3G (if that’s even possible!?) and finally more battery life.
