Motorola XT860 4G Specs and Availability: Android 2.3 Gingerbread

Yet another android smartphone and this one is called the Motorola XT860 4G running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, slated as the world’s thinnest QWERTY slider smartphone. Motorola Mobility Canada has just announced this device that will be released exclusively at Bell Mobility.

Motorola Mobility is releasing a new Android powerhouse smartphone to the Canadian market, this mobile phone will be good for all those that would love uncompromising web, email and media content delivery. This full slide-out keyboard smartphone has a lot to offer, and can see this one doing very well, the specs are decent.

The Motorola XT860 4G comes with a dual-core 1GHz processor; it also comes with a stunning 4-inch qHD touchscreen display. This is classed as a superphone and Android lovers in Canada will love it, it is exclusive to Bell.

Motorola XT860 4G Main Specs Include: Dual-core 1GHz processor, Displays HD video on big-screen TVs, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 4-inch qHD display (24-bit color), five-row QWERTY and touchscreen keypad, 8MP rear-facing camera with dual LED flash and 1080p video-capable, also has a Front-facing VGA camera for video chat, 16GB internal memory but can get up to 32GB, Social Location delivers location-based content, Connected Music Player is a personal music dashboard powered by TuneWiki, comes with Google goodness such as Google Maps 5.0 with 3D maps and navigation and well as Google Talk and browsing.

This smartphone also comes with many business features such as, GA Lookup for eMail & Calendar access, remote document access (QuickOffice); and complex security, password and data encryption.

This is a smartphone for a reason, when the handset is docked in the bedroom it will automatically adjust to its pre-defined settings, this means the alarm clock and homescreen news updates, as well as the lower screen brightness.

Business goodies come in the form of a built-in Citrix Receiver application, pre-loaded Quick Office and much more.
