Rogers banging Nokia Lumia 710 pricing

Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia announced last year the new Lumia line-up with news of 710 and 800 models, the news continued after Christmas with another to tickle our taste buds, that of the bigger 900 that’s on its way.

Running on Windows OS instead of the usual iOS and Android, the new Lumia 710 which we wanted to update you on today, packs a 3.7-inch ClearBlack display, 1.4GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 8GB of internal memory, 5MP camera, social networking benefits and so on. Just recently we brought you an article in which we reported that retailer Walmart were offering the 710 for $0 on a two-year contract.

Today the news is centered around subscriber Rogers, in which a leaked internal memo has been spotted, and as Zachary Lutz at Engadget.com reported, with a pricing structure detailing three prices with three contract plans.

Reported to be coming in the first week of February, Rogers are retailing the Lumia 710 for a price of $149 on a one-year contract, $99 on a two-year and $49 on a three-year contract or as a stand-alone price of $254.

Let us know if you have been waiting for the Lumia 710 on Rogers? Are you committed to take on a contract, if so for how long?
