iPad Smart Case gets reviewed on video

I’m pretty sure by now all the iOS faithful out there have heard of Apple’s latest accessory for the Apple iPad, the Apple Smart Case, which basically takes the Apple Smart Cover and slaps a back piece onto it to deliver both front and back protection for your iOS slate.

The guys over at 9to5 Mac recently got hold of the new Apple iPad Smart Case, and have delivered a review video of the accessory, which of course we have for your viewing consideration below that lasts just over four minutes so you can see if the Smart Case is for you or not.

The guys have also done an in-depth written review of the Smart Case over on their website, but if you don’t have time for that you can simply head on down and hit the play button to check out the footage.

The guys do say that placing the new case onto your iPad is fairly easy, it only takes a bit of pushing; however they say that there is a little issue with the case in as much as there is a fair amount of empty space round the corners, which causes the iOS tablet to slide around a bit.

Thus it appears that the design of the Smart Case delivers a loose fit, your slate wont fall out, but it is a bit of an inconvenience. Furthermore they say that the magnet that holds the cover portion in place doesn’t seem to be quite strong enough.

Anyway, I’ll leave it right there so you can head on down and check out the video so you can make up your own mind as to whether the Apple Smart Case for the Apple iPad is for you or not. The Smart Case is available in six colours at a cost of $49 from the Apple Store, so Smart Case or Smart Cover, which do you prefer?
