Micromax has been busy in the last few days officially launching a couple of new handsets to consumers over in India, and today we are looking at the Micromax A250 Canvas Turbo vs. Canvas 4 in a spec comparison.

The new flagship Micromax A250 Canvas Turbo was launched yesterday with availability pegged from tomorrow, although there is a longer wait if you purchase the handset from the official Micromax website, but how does it compare to the Canvas 4?

Display
The new device has a 5-inch Full HD touchscreen display which compares to the Canvas 4 that also has a 5-inch display but at a HD resolution of 720 x 1280.

Processor
The older handset has a Quad-core Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.2GHz while the Turbo uses the quad core MediaTek MT6589T processor clocked at 1.5GHz.

Storage & RAM
Micromax have fitted the Canvas Turbo with only 16GB of storage that isn’t expandable with only 1GB available for storing apps which is paired with 2GB of RAM. This compares to the Canvas 4 that has 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD up to 32GB, and is coupled with 1GB of RAM.

Cameras
The rear of the Micromax Canvas 4 houses a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash and Full HD video capture, while around the front is a 5-megapixel unit capable of 720p video recording. On the Canvas Turbo we have exactly the same set up sensor wise.

Operating System.
The new smartphone will launch running the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system which is the same OS that the Canvas 4 is currently running.

Price
The new handset is expected to be available from tomorrow from some retailers priced at Rs. 19,990, while the Canvas 4 can currently be purchased from the likes of Flipkart for Rs. 17, 499.
