Alcatel is announcing new devices at MWC 2014 and we have details of the Alcatel One Touch Pop S9, S7 and S3. This is a range of affordable smartphones that all offer LTE connectivity and they will release over the next few months. We have details of specs and more ahead.

These would be a good choice of affordable handset for those who want their first LTE experience. They range from the 4-inch Pop S3 to the 5.9-inch Pop S9.

Starting with the pick of the bunch the OneTouch Pop S9, this has a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 5.9-inch HD IPS display, supports 4G LTE Cat. 4, and has a 3400 mAh battery. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera and is 8.5mm thick. Colour options are Mellow Yellow, Soft Blue, Urban Haze, Cream Tangerine and Cream Pink.

Moving on to the Alcatel OneTouch Pop S7, this one has a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 5-inch qHD IPS display, 4G LTE Cat. 4, and a 3000 mAh battery. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with flash and a VGA front-facing camera and measures 9.4mm thick. This comes in the same choice of colour options as those listed above for the Pop S9.

The final option is the OneTouch Pop S3, which has a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 4-inch WVGA display, 4G LTE Cat. 4 and a 2000 mAh battery. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and measures 9.8mm thick. This handset comes with 5 differently coloured battery covers included so that you can interchange them to suit your mood. The colours are Flash Yellow, Fresh Turquoise, Hot Pink, Red, and Slate.

Optional accessories for all of these phones will include a Sight Flip Case with integrated LED for alerts, AeroFlip cover with a transparent panel for accessing key features, and BoomBand offering vibration and LED alerts. There’s also an optional Stand Flip case for the Pop S9.
