#

There is a growing choice of more affordable Android smartphones becoming available that still have some worthy specifications and features, and now the ZTE Blade L2 is announced ahead of a global launch with availability already available in a couple of regions.

The ZTE Blade series of smartphones have been growing in popularity and we were impressed with the ZTE Blade V when we had one for review last year. Now the company has announced the Blade L2 that will offer Android fans a 5-inch touchscreen display at a resolution of 480 x 854.

Under the hood is a quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and paired with 1GB of RAM running the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. There is 4GB of onboard storage while on the back is a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, and around the front is a VGA shooter.

Other specs include Bluetooth 4.0, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and GPS with the device measuring 142.5mm x72.2mm x 8.95mm.

The ZTE Blade L2 is already available in the likes of Spain and Greece, with availability coming to other regions across the world and also including the UK and Germany. At the time of writing we have no information regarding pricing but hopefully we will have a review of the handset in the coming few weeks.
