Motorola Droid Turbo specs show up in New Benchmark

#

2014 may be coming to a close, but there are still a few devices to get excited about. The Droid Turbo is one of them, and we’ve already gotten a good look at the device ahead of the rumored October announcement. Today, we got another look at the Motorola Droid Turbo specs through some benchmarks, and that line up nicely with what we had previously heard.

Back in August, we told you about a Droid Turbo specs leak that showed a powerful device worthy of the “Flagship” moniker. These specs come courtesy of GFXBench, and are close to what we saw previously with a few exceptions. The new Motorola Droid Turbo specs point towards a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. There’s a 2.6GHz Snapdragon 805 under that QHD display, and the Droid Turbo will run like butter with 3GB of RAM.

The rear camera is listed as at 19MP which means you could be seeing a 20.1MP Sony sensor on the backside. The selfie-snapper is 2MP, and the internal storage says 21GB which is more than likely 32GB. There’s no mention of a battery, but we assume it’ll have a large one and all the usual sensors are listed including GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc…

The Motorola Droid Turbo is shaping up to be a phone to watch, especially if your contract is nearing an end and you’re thinking about switching carriers. A Verizon exclusive like this could also draw some customers back to Big Red as the Droid Turbo will stand out in a crowd if the leaked photos pan out. We expect to learn more soon, and will keep you in the loop on all things Droid Turbo going forward.
